Veterans Green Jobs has received notice that a Corporate Sponsor will provide funding for residential energy efficiency retrofits and possibly a solar electric system to be installed on a veteran-owned home at no charge.
Home retrofits will be made by licensed and certified VGJ professionals as well as corporate volunteers, and will include many of the following measures:
Whole home safety and energy audit
Insulation and air sealing
Furnace repair or replacement
Window replacement
Radon testing and mitigation
Painting
Landscaping
Solar panel installation (dependent upon roof structure, condition and geography)
