Learn how to work toward the dual goal of increasing energy efficiency and providing healthy, safe conditions for workers and occupants from key industry professionals.

This event showcases the need for professionals from the green building and the indoor environmental health fields to work colla…boratively. The goal of the symposium is to initiate a dialog among the professions resulting in sustainable indoor environments that are healthy for occupants and the workers creating those environments. Emphasis will be placed on energy efficiency, weatherization, and green building efforts that target existing residential environments.

The US Department of Energy, Veterans Green Jobs, National Jewish Health, Boulder County Public Health, the American Industrial Hygiene Association – Rocky Mountain Section, the Institute for the Built Environment at Colorado State University, Lightly Treading Inc. and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory are collaborating on this regional symposium.
