Veterans Represent in D.C. at Good Jobs, Green Jobs National Conference

Veterans Green Jobs board member, Mit Parsons, Veteran Outreach & Services Coordinator, Garett Reppenhagen, and Executive Director, Brett KenCairn are at the Good Jobs, Green Jobs Conference in D.C. today. The conference is organized by the Blue Green Alliance, a strategic partnership between labor unions and environmental organizations that works to expand the job-creating potential of the green economy.

The Good Jobs, Green Jobs Conference will set the stage for stakeholders from across the country to forge an agenda for realizing the enormous opportunities we can achieve by investing in green jobs – and Veterans Green Jobs is there to ensure that our nation’s war veterans play a leadership role in that movement.
