Eric Lopez, a formerly unemployed military veteran, had his home weatherized by Veterans Green Jobs recently. He was so impressed with Veterans Green Jobs that he applied for a job; today he is the Denver/Jefferson County Weatherization Program training manager. On Friday, October 8, when Veterans Green Jobs celebrated the 600+ homes in Denver and Jefferson County that have been weatherized, Eric shared his story and shook hands with Governor Bill Ritter.
