Veterans Green Corps is a collaborative initiative of Denver, Colorado-based Veterans Green Jobs and conservation corps organizations throughout the U.S. We empower recently returning veterans to transition to civilian life by leveraging their leadership experience, strong work ethic and team approach to meet  conservation needs on public lands. River Restoration Crew -  Veterans Green Jobs will lead our third annual river crew along the Yampa and Green Rivers in north west Colorado. Typically the crew enjoys a week of rafting and hard service work to remove Tamirisk plants which are invasive species. This year we will have another crew the week of July 4th completing hard work and rafting the only wild river in Colorado.

Utah Conservation Corps

Accessibility Survey Crew

This 4 person crew will allow disabled veterans to participate in evaluating trails and public lands for accessibility features to help make our parks and forests for inclusive.

California Conservation Corps

Back Country Trail Crew

Through our partnership with California Conservation Corps we  launched a back country trail crew in northern California that includes veterans. The program is an

intense twenty-two weeks in remote areas of public land maintaining trails and learning technical skills.

The crew camps and works outdoors the entire time and gains memorable experiences in some of the most beautiful landscapes in the United States. The crew consists of fifteen members and one supervisor.
