Pre-paid Solar Leases: Free Solar Installations
Through a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy and the Colorado Energy Office, Veterans Green Jobs is setting out to prove that renewable energy can be implemented cost effectively on limited-income homes. Veterans Green Jobs is implementing a pilot program to provide residential solar systems to 40 households with high energy usage in the metro Denver area. The goal is to ensure that lower income households have the security of fixed or zero energy bills so that more disposable income can go toward meeting critical family needs.
