Donate Your Dollars through GivingFirst

GivingFirst.org is an opportunity to support and give back to Colorado nonprofits, including Veterans Green Jobs. It is made possible by Community First Foundation, a Denver-based community foundation whose mission is “to improve quality of life by increasing community generosity and involvement.” Financial donations may be made directly to Veterans Green Jobs through the GivingFirst.org website. It is a quick and easy way to support our programs!

Donate Your Home Improvement Goods

In order to make money to support our veteran training and veteran employment programs, our Go Green Warehouse needs new and used home remodeling and home improvement materials materials to sell. In order to sell materials, we need to stock our shelves, so please consider donating your functional home remodel materials to the Go Green Warehouse!

Remember and Donate

Each year in December, our nation pauses to remember Pearl Harbor Day on December 7. If you would like to give an end-of-year contribution in honor or in memory of a servicemember, Veterans Green Jobs will acknowledge your gift on our website (no dollar amounts will be revealed). If you make your contribution through GivingFirst.org on Colorado Gives Day, Dec. 6, your donation will be partly matched with incentive funds, meaning that your donation will help us even more. Please remember Pearl Harbor and our men and women in arms.

Helpful Resources about Donating:

Giving Made Easy with Community Shares

Veterans Green Jobs is a proud member of Community Shares, a workplace giving federation with a mission to “connect Coloradans to the charities and causes they care about most.” Community Shares works with the Combined Federal Campaign, the Colorado Combined Campaign, the Denver Employee Combined Campaign and more than 200 private business campaigns across the state, making it easy for federal state, city and corporate employees to donate to Veterans Green Jobs through a simple paycheck deduction. EZ Tax Credit

Did you know? Veterans Green Jobs is an approved Enterprise Zone charity. Donors who contribute $500 or more may receive a 25% Colorado state tax credit for cash contributions and a 12.5% tax credit for in-kind gifts, such as goods and services. Learn more on our EZ Tax Credit page, or call Jo at 720-236-1315.

Donor Bill of Rights

PHILANTHROPY is based on voluntary action for the common good. It is a tradition of giving and sharing that is primary to the quality of life. To assure that philanthropy merits the respect and trust of the general public, and that donors and prospective donors can have full confidence in the not-for-profit organizations and causes they are asked to support, we declare that all donors have these rights.
