Call of Duty Endowment Names Kynnie Martin Outstanding Female Veteran

Veterans Green Jobs is proud to announce that Kynnie Martin, volunteer program manager, has been named “Outstanding Female Veteran” by the Call of Duty Endowment. Kynnie was nominated because of her extraordinary service to our country. As one of the five winners, the Endowment has made a $1,000 donation in Kynnie’s name to Veterans Green Jobs, her veteran organization of choice. Thank you, Kynnie, and congratulations!

About Kynnie: Kynnie received her bachelor of arts degree in communications from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, and was commissioned through the Army ROTC program by her grandfather, a West Point Class of 1939 grad, into the Military Intelligence Corps. She was stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia, and deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom III (2005-06) as a platoon leader and executive officer with the 3rd Infantry Division’s first Shadow Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Company.  Honorably discharged as a captain in 2007, Kynnie is a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal and German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge.  She is pursuing her master’s degree in nonprofit management from Regis University with a certificate in executive leadership.  She serves on the board of directors for LoDoNA and volunteers with the LoDo District Young Professionals in Denver.
