How to get started:
- Send an email to vgc@veteransgreenjobs.org explaining your military experience and why you are interested in the Veterans Green Jobs outdoor conservation or wildland firefighting program.
- Contact our Conservation Outreach Assistant @ 720-236-1349
- We will route you to a partnering conservation corps to fill out an application. If you have already filled out a Veterans Green Jobs application, you may be required to fill out an additional application with a partnering corps.
- Please note that Veterans Green Jobs outdoor conservation programs and wildland firefighting programs are seasonal with no guarantee of ongoing employment.
- Post-program opportunities may include hiring on with a Natural Resource Agency or other programs in Veterans Green Jobs. If desired, each Veterans Green Jobs participant will receive ongoing support from Veterans Green Jobs for education, career development-placement and social opportunities.
